Returns Policy

1. Introduction

This Returns Policy (Returns Policy) applies to all purchases made from us. This Returns Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions (Terms). Any capitalised terms not defined in this Returns Policy have the meaning given to them in the Terms.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with the Terms, including this Returns Policy.


2. Change of mind returns

If you change your mind about your purchase, we may accept a return for a refund, store credit or exchange (at our discretion), provided that all of the following conditions are met:

(a) you have complied with all of our Terms and Conditions
(b) the return request is made by emailing us at info@whizzbean.com.au
(c) the request is made within 14 days of purchase
(d) you provide your Order number and satisfactory proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email or tax invoice
(e) you follow all return instructions provided by us, including returning the Goods at your own cost
(f) the Goods are returned in saleable condition, meaning they are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging, with any seals intact and not tampered with
(g) the Goods are not items that cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons, including sealed educational products where the packaging has been opened

A restocking fee of up to 20% of the total purchase price may apply to change of mind returns and will be deducted from any refund or store credit issued.

The restocking fee does not apply where a refund, replacement or repair is required under the Australian Consumer Law.


3. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If your Goods are faulty, damaged, broken or incorrect, please contact us at info@whizzbean.com.au within a reasonable time of receiving your Order and provide:

(a) your Order number
(b) clear photos of the Goods and a description of the issue
(c) proof of purchase, such as your confirmation email or tax invoice

We may request that the Goods be returned to us for assessment. In this case, return postage may be required to be paid by you initially and will be reimbursed if the Goods are confirmed to be faulty or not as described.

Following assessment, we may offer a replacement, repair, refund or store credit where:

(a) the Goods are faulty, damaged or broken
(b) the Goods do not match their description or images
(c) the incorrect item was supplied
(d) the Goods otherwise fail to comply with Australian Consumer Law

If a fault was disclosed to you before purchase, you are not entitled to a return for that disclosed fault.

We do not accept returns for faults caused by misuse, neglect or normal wear and tear. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for damage caused by:

(a) improper use or storage
(b) use of the Goods for purposes other than intended
(c) failure to follow instructions provided
(d) accidents, external damage or acts of God


4. Returns process

Except where required under Australian Consumer Law, original shipping charges are non-refundable.

You are responsible for return shipping costs for change of mind returns.

Returned Goods remain your responsibility until received by us. We recommend using a tracked or registered postal service. We are not liable for Goods lost or damaged in transit during return.


5. Replacements and exchanges

Replacements or exchanges are subject to stock availability. If a replacement or exchange is not available, an alternative remedy may be offered.


6. Refunds and store credit

Refunds

  • If you are entitled to a refund, the refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

  • Refund processing times may take up to 7 business days to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

Store credit

  • Where offered, store credit may be issued via your account or by way of a unique store credit or discount code once a return has been processed.

  • Store credit may be offered at our discretion and is not guaranteed to be available in all circumstances.

  • Where issued, store credit will generally be applied within 3 business days of us receiving and processing the returned Goods.

  • Store credit, if issued, is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

  • Store credit may be redeemed at checkout in accordance with any instructions provided at the time of issue.


7. Consumer guarantees

Nothing in this Returns Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where Goods fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.


8. Amendments

We may amend this Returns Policy from time to time. Any Orders placed after an updated version is published will be subject to the revised policy.
